Coalator

Coalescing + Separation

In a Pioneer Coalator filter, the mechanical separation takes place just before the air/gas stream flows through the coalescing media. The coalescing element is open to the separation chamber, allowing condensate to fall, thus preventing re-entrainment.

The separation chamber also doubles as a condensate accumulator.

  • Higher overall efficiency. Coalescer's exposure to condensed fluids is virtually eliminated.
  • Large condensate holding chamber provides extra protection to coalescer.
  • Easier installation -additional separator and drain are not required.
  • Lowest overall cost -saves on equipment and installation costs.

Notes:

Coalator Recommended Specifications

The Pioneer Coalator shall be constructed of a heavy duty steel vessel, internally coated for rust prevention. It shall incorporate a multi-step impingement separator and a high efficiency microfiber coalescer. The coalescing element shall be open to the separation chamber, allowing condensate to fall, thus preventing re-entrainment. The coalator shall have a removable top for easy element replacement. The coalator shall include a differential pressure indicator to signal element change.
